Always had great friendly service. Everyone there are really nice. Everything we've eaten has been delicious!

We have been enjoying Kiwi Bowl (Lin's Garden) for a long time. Tonight we ordered Vegetable Fried Rice, Vegetable Lo Mein, General Tsao Chicken, and Shrimp with Broccoli. Everything was delicious with just the right amount of spice. The vegetables were not overcooked and the rice was the perfect texture ... and not doused in soy sauce. In the past the owner has taken the time to answer our questions about the ingredients and different types of noodles and sauces available. The food is always hot when its picked up or delivered. The staff is friendly and courteous. Tonight we ordered on line and it was very easy and straightforward. Kiwi Bowl is one of our favorite take out choices in Waterloo! Read more

I was very impressed on my first visit! The owners were very kind and patient, taking time to explain dishes and help us pick the right thing. Our 5 items were ready to go within 15 minutes, so fast! Despite the speed, the food was incredible. Very flavourful, the meat ... was good quality and not covered in too much batter. The general Tsao’s chicken was actually spicy (medium)! Super friendly staff (we were greeted and we felt very welcome) It is also very clean! We had about 10 minutes wait for our order and we sat at the tables to wait. Felt very comfortable! Food portions are really good! I ordered Singapore noodles and it was delicious! They did not ... skimp on meat at all. Tons of large chicken and pork pieces! The portion of food is small, and for the Lunch special:Sesame chicken, Only the rice and chicken!No any vegetable on side! Not like other Chinese restaurant in Waterloo will offer you soup, spring roll, or a can of pop etc., on lunch special. To be honest, the taste ... of food is not bad, but still make me feel disappointed. As the owner reply, so I change my review as well, yes. you play the trick on you Menu. On the menu says the price of lunch special is $6.2, but in a small printing it also says only for high school student. OK, that's fine, you charge me $7.5 right?
