Great food, generous portions - souvlaki combo was fantastic! Excellent friendly service! Went on a Saturday around lunch so understandably quite busy, but they had everything on track and no complaints! Will definitely go again when we're back in that area.

I was exploring for a proper restaurant on on near our job site to have lunch with my crew. After searching diligently, we came across Jack's Family Restaurant. This place is living proof why families are best run by women! Not a man in sight for kitchen, bar and service, but man is the place efficient 😳. Watching as something feel down, glass all over, within moments someone started cleaning whilst the entire kitchen traffic was passing by. As a ... process engineer I could hardly believe what I observed. No orders, no shouting or finger pointing. Everybody knew what needs to be done, did it and moved on! Lots of booth seating gives most tables a feeling of privacy. An extensive menu. We were seated immediately for breakfast and the server brought coffee (infinite refills) while we waited for our third companion. Once we ordered, food arrived pretty quickly, and everyone had more than enough. Server was attentive. I ... ordered the Avocado Toast plate, and received one piece of gluten-free toast with mashed avocado, two poached eggs, tomato slices, baked beans and a fruit bowl (cottage cheese or yogurt could be swapped for the fruit bowl). I enjoyed it. One companion ordered the Philadelphia Cheese Steak skillet - she received a mounded plate of food, and had to take half of it away in a take-out container. She said it was delicious. My other companion had a different skillet, no cheese, and loved hers as well. The skillets came with toast and choice of eggs. Everyone left satisfied, and even after we’d paid the bill we were able to sit and chat and receive more coffee. Great experience, friendly staff. Read more
