We were sitting at a corner window seat table. Our server’s service was exceptional, impressive & weird! The server was annoyed towards their guests! My friends requested the menu for ordering drinks after taking breakfast but the server replied her rudely “it’s different from the lunch menu now!” We ... were shocked! Then my friend politely reminded if they could let us know about the last order of the breakfast section would be great! They awkwardly said: “ the breakfast section duration was listed on the menu!” After we had all done of our breakfast they asked if we were interested to order desserts or drinks but we refused! Then they were annoyed and stirred towards another friend who didn’t order drinks. The restaurant has a stunning harbour view, good food quality so they should deserve better ratings but the server screwed everything up! This is the first time I bumped into this experience in town that’s absolutely unforgettable! 🤪 Literally the best of our breakfast is Lure breakfast hash and the Kennebec potatoes is crispy and tasty! This was the best French toast I've tried in my life! Cinnamoon roll French toast is a must try if you visit Victoria. The hostess was very cute & friendly. Our favorite was the miso steelhead, very tender and properly marinated. The yam fries were also pretty good. The dessert options were very limited (only 4) and we couldn’t tell from the description the portion/size - the tart was super small as a tart. They also didn’t do a good job in ... planning the reservation arrangement. We had a reservation and asked to be seated by the window but was told it was reserved by someone else. By the time we left 1.5 hours later, two window tables were still unoccupied. Hope that they could have a better reservation system to serve their customers. Read more

Went to Lure with friends to celebrate a birthday. The view is really nice, overviewing the water, bridge and downtown victoria. Food was ok, I had the fish and chips and the apple fennel greens. My friends got some pasta which they said it was good. We also got the warm ... bread and olives and of course, yam fries.. Service was a bit slow but the restaurant was busy that night so it is understandable. Music could tone down a little but it was just a preference..
