I have 2 toddlers. This was the only time my kids stayed relatively still in a booth like setting which we never experienced before to begin with as a family to eat and they are really picky eaters. We got 2 of the boats (each meant for 2 people) for 3 ... adults and 2 toddlers and my kids loved the tempura shrimp and they normally hate shrimp...I have never seen them eat so much in their little lives so that's an auto 5 stars.. Ordered food for to go. The worst sushi’s I ever had in Victoria. The food is terrible!🤮 Their sushis are disgusting in addition of being poorly made (1 cm rice thick … really 🤦‍♂️🤌). The taste of the fish was weird — seems not fresh. The rice of the sushi ... is soggy. I still have nausea from eating their food while writing the review. The “fried” tofu is not undercooked nor fried properly. Miso soup is average. The teriyaki chicken looked like dog food. Food presentation is null. Not kid-friendly at all. Overall it’s beyond bad. I DON’T RECOMMEND that place AT ALL. 👎 Read more

the chicken and salmon teriyaki, as well as the seafood pate are our favourites because of the sauce. the other sushi we ordered I was not fully satisfied with so I might just have to stick with my favourites. great service and the restaurant setting. good for large groups. note: ... they no longer do the birthday discount. Food was good. Server was very friendly. The tempura, while hot and tasty, was a darker colour (like that of the batter at a fish and chips place) than I have had at other Japanese restaurants. Not sure if the reason was that it was cooked longer, had a different ... batter, or was cooked in dirty oil. Read more

The service and staff were friendly and fast which is why I still tipped well. Where they fall short is everywhere else. First impression walking in is doesn’t smell clean and sat down to a sticky table. I ordered sashimi and lunch bento. I’ve never seen sashimi shaped like this. ... They did not cut from the right part of the sockeye. The quality and value is poor. The tempura sauce was watery and tasteless. The tempura was soggy and had no crunch. The sunomono was not ebi so it was noodles and a piece of tomato and cucumber. Everything was flavourless and unsatisfying. Again the servers were great but I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. They’ve got lots of work to do and hopefully they take this feedback to improve. Read more
