This place is fantastic. One of my favourites in Victoria and always fresh and well-made. It’s located in beautiful historic Chinatown, which makes it extra beautiful. The “Island Roll” is probably my favourite sushi dish in Victoria. 100% make the trip to Shizen.

This has become my favourite sushi restaurant in town. They do take out but I highly recommend dining in if you can, the experience is bar none. The restaurant is family owned and operated. Came here upon someone else's recommendation and it lived up to his praise! The best chicken teriyaki and tempura I've had on the island and the service on all ends was very pleasant - will definitely be regulars here for the lunch bento!

A pretty classic sushi place with decent salmon. The tuna is definitely better than in Ontario. The business got a little too busy to the point where the service was fairly slow. But the food is well priced and satisfying.

Good sushi, fast service! I give it 4 stars as it is casual/ not top refined decor or finished or elegant plating , but it's great value and they do a few improved than typical.places, like having eggplants and mushrooms ( rather than just root vegetables) in ... their tempura.
