Definitely above average. Coffee was really acidic, but I'm sure some people love that. I love good coffee and this was a big detractor for me. The meal was great. Hopped the ferry to Victoria and had a nice meal at Heron Rock with a friend. I got the smoked salmon benny and a beer and my friend had to try poutine for the first time. Went there last Friday after our arrival in the country and must say this place didn’t disappoint. Great table service with great tasting house wine, Tasty food and a pleasant atmosphere. If you’re in the area worth the try. They also have Gluten- free options available. Very friendly waiter aswell. Cheers Gerrit

Having been in for lunch previously and enjoying it, we thought we would check out the brunch options. We were not disappointed. This chef knows how to poach an egg properly! The food was delicious, the service exceptional. It's rare to see so many front-end staff actually working with one ... another. Instead of just serving ones own tables, they work as a collective to serve everyone together. So much more beneficial, especially for the customer.
