Holy smokes! Glad we found this place. Easily the best breakfast/brunch spot for the Esquimalt/Gorge area. Well earned reputation for quality food. Been coming here on and off for the past few years for weekend breakfasts with friends or by myself. This place has a very down to earth and homely feel to it with very welcoming staff. The food has always been really good and there's usually an awesome special that's ... not on the menu (see pic). This place will have to be my winner for best hidden gem in town. Read more

I was impressed with this restaurant, not only for the food quality but the tasteful decor and well laid out interior. It was super clean and tidy. The eggs benny I had were superb and well presented, no complaints here. It was definitely far removed from the old "hotel restaurant" , ... and the menu was edgy with plenty of options for the people who enjoy a more adventurous selection. Well done! Service was good. Always a great place for a hearty breakfast! Nov 27/16 Just had the breakfast sandwich..was crazy good and a monster.

Most of the food is great. A nice quiet spot oit side of downtown. They have an in house BBQ sauce that is really similar to hoisin.
