I don’t understand how this place has so many five star ratings except that Victoria doesn’t have much of a Mexican food scene. The servings here are quite large but flavour is weak, and I never expected to pay $20 for a burrito at a food truck (before tax and ... tip). I wouldn’t mind if it were super yum but it was meh. Oh and they charge extra for a side of Frank’s. won’t return, don’t recommend. Also took a very long time to get our two burritos even though no one ahead of us in line. Read more

Ordered 2 burritos. They must have changed how burritos are served to no longer include a box and some extra chips. The burritos themselves lacked seasoning on the beef and the fish. The amount of sauce that was added to these burritos made us question if we had ordered a ... soup burrito. Huge mess from the very obviously watered down and overused sauce. The server was a bit too friendly with customers and lacked professional etiquette - this is not your play house. This is a workplace. Overall, it was not nearly worth the 55$ we spent with the recommended tip of 12$. Flat out this place has gone to gas. Pits! Thumbs down gross! Read more

It is a food truck. Food is generous portions and tastes great. Limited seating especially at busy times, good grab and go place. Nachos Libres is our go to dish.

We've ordered from here a few times, but have now been burned one too many times. The fried avocado bowl I received most recently had mediocre slaw with a heaping portion of huge cilantro stalks, but the rice and "salsa" (it feels offensive to call it that) in particular made ... 75% of this quite expensive meal inedible. The black sludge that I received in my bowl is like a vengeful trickster god's interpretation of "charred tomato salsa"; instead of salsa made from tomatoes with a bit of char on them, this is tomato salsa that has been burned to the point of being unrecognizable. It's as though whoever created this abomination read "charred tomato salsa" on a different restaurant's menu and without checking what that actually meant or tasting their own product decided to copy it on title alone. Whatever crimes were committed against these tomatoes also seem to have been inflicted on the rice, with 'grill scrapings' being the only distinguishable flavour. Really don’t understand the hype over this place. Ordered off skip, we were both ravenous and definitely not picky in any way. Ordered the beef tacos and fish burrito. Tacos came with little meat and way too much cabbage/lettuce mixture. The beef did have a good flavour. The fish burrito ... must’ve had a whole cucumber grated in it. Fish was bland and had a weird rubbery texture - burrito was dripping with cucumber juice and fell apart. Couldn’t finish the meals. The only edible part was the waffle fries. Spent about $75 on the whole order - complete waste of money. Read more
