The service was great but unfortunately I found their tacos quite salty and their condiments (hot sauce, salsa) bottles extremely dirty and you can tell that they haven't been cleaned in months... That was a huge turnoff for me, I work in health care and would hate to think of the ... bacteria on the inside buildup. Would I go back, I don't think so. Clean lines is a must for me and it was just too dirty to want to eat there again. Also, the air is STIFLING inside - so frigging hot and humid it rushed and ruined my dining in experience. This is the best mexican restaurant in Victoria. Authentic as you can get! The only place in town that I've been able to find that serves tacos de lengua (beef tongue). You have to try them, they are amazing and so delicious! Small space, but cozy and definitely worth the ... wait if you can get a table. Love the complimentary house made tortilla chips and salsas. Portion sizes are great, friendly staff, clean. The only place I want to eat tacos at in Victoria. You better run to this place :) Read more

Great little "hole in the wall" restaurant. The food was delicious and generous portions. The chips were good, and the salsas and guacamole sauce made them even better! The service was also muy bueno! I highly recommend this place!

We had dinner here this week on a one night stop over in Victoria. We didn’t realize before going, that this cute little restaurant was counter service, but it didn’t matter, we had the most amazing experience and can’t stop talking about how good the food was. This restaurant has only a ... few tables so seating could definitely be a challenge. Food is reasonably priced and everything was so delicious and served so quickly. Everything is prepared by a lovely family in the kitchen and you definitely feel as if you are eating in someone’s kitchen in Mexico. We loved everything about this little gem! Love Mexican food that is well seasoned, marinated, and spicy. I often go for the dishes that include rice. Portions are great, worth what you’re paying for. Small place so highly recommend going on a quiet day/time. Menu is from Aug 2023 so prices might not be updated.
