This is an average East Indian restaurant in downtown of Victoria BC. Food is not that great compared to an authentic East Indian restaurant, service was slow, don't have much variety in alcoholic beverages. When placing an order make sure that waitress write down (even after she claim she remembers ... everything) so that you get what you ordered on the table. The food was really good! A bit slow (not too much though) but the servers do warn you that the kitchen prepares everything to order and that can take time. So the servers suggest ordering appetizers in case you're too hungry and can't wait which come to the table quite ... fast. They have vegan options and can also make dishes gluten free. The portions are quite feeling and even though I did not order any side rice or naan, I was stuffed with my order of the coconut Dahl. The service itself is a little slow as well but at least your waters are constantly being refilled! The decor is in a dark atmosphere but beautiful. There was a table right next to our table separating the restaurant from the kitchen and you could see crumbs and rice on there which did not look super clean. The servers were very friendly even though we had a Groupon, we didn't feel we were treated any differently than other customers (some other businesses honestly make you feel that way). Read more

The service and food was excellent. Good ambiance. They cook the food after you order and there's a bit of a wait - good if you're wanting time to chat with a date or something, not so good if you're in a rush or starving. I found the price a ... bit high for what it was. That said, I'll likely go back! There aren't other restaurants that I know of who offer a higher end experience with this kind of food. Read more

Apparently this place is easy to miss. Don't do it. Pretty sure this was the best Indian food I've ever eaten. Definitely going back.

I dined here last night with a party of seven and we all found the server to be be very attentive and helpful. The surroundings and decor was very pleasant.
