It was a bad day for me. I was disappointed and mad with the cashier. And I saw so many 1 star review I was like, YOU DESERVE IT (I am an Asian and from HK. but I feel really bad becuz of you guys) But I still want to appreciate food are ... amazing and services at first are great. HOWEVER, when 2 of us ( hker & Japanese) are done and gonna split bill. The cashier working sooooo slow and help the next customer first. I was like : …….? Then she asks another staff to help us, that staff trying to put 24.8$ as 25$. Are you crazy??? How comes can you overcharge me I ask her politely and she gives me excuses “I always do it when you guys split the bill” AT THAT TIME I WISH I AM RECORDING !!!! And she continues to say you need to give TIPS I’m not poor and actually I want to tip you 15% or more. But when you saying like that I don’t wanna tip!!!! But why I tip finally is because of I like the quality of food and service [at first]. NOW, I believe you will lost customer like me and I am gonna tell my friends, coworkers, strangers… DONT COME TO YOUR RESTAURANT. Foods were alright. I always go here for dim sum but after this experience I don’t think I’ll ever come back. There’s one server that was extremely rude. She sat us down for a group of 4 and was the one that took mine payment. She added in the extra ... $5 for tea even when we explicitly told her we didn’t want the tea. Like ok? It’s only $5 I’ll just pay for it and then I notice there’s a service charge (tips) that was automatically added in for 15% on a $63ish bill. If I remember correctly, service charges only automatically apply when you have a party that’s 5/6+ people. I tips everywhere I go but when you added it without my consent is a different story. Love the owner that always stand at the reception but unfortunately she’s wasn’t there. I always put up with that one server attitude every time I’m there but this time was just unacceptable. Jade Fountain restaurant has delicious Chinese cuisine! I ordered take-out from there last weekend, and had dumplings and the pork fried rice. I would recommend having ginger-ale to drink with it. Enjoy!

This place gets a lot of stick for some weird reason. But I assure you, my experience there was amazing. I attended with a group of 3 friends and we were treated spectacularly and the food was exquisite.
