Murchie’s Tea & Coffee - Victoria, British Columbia

I love coming here whenever I'm at this mall. Staff is always very friendly and their drinks are delicious. I highly recommend their London Fog. It's my favorite drink from them. :)

I love going to the Murchies on Government St. for lunch or coffee and a treat. It rarely if ever disappoints. I recently found about the location at the Hillside Mall and gave it a try. It's a nice, quiet spot, the perfect place to visit with a friend and ... the blueberry danish I had was just delicious. The problem was with the coffee - it was barely stronger than hot water. Some of my favourite tea I've ever had. Hot chocolate is good too! Great gift ideas other than coffee and teas. Baking too!

Bad service. I wait 15 minutes for my latte. When I realized that the 3 people that ordered after me where getting their drinks before me I approached to the barista and asked her if my latte was in the way and she lied that it was , she was ... actuality making the other people after me . This morning I had the best cappuccino I’ve had in a long time, thanks to barista Willem, and to Bella for the teas. Strong coffee, with just the right amount of frothy milk. If you’re from these parts, you’ll be familiar with the name of Murchie’s, which is synonymous with ... high-quality coffees and teas. The Government Street location in downtown Victoria has been around for decades, while this location at the Hillside mall is newer, much smaller, but still offers a great selection of coffee, tea, cups, mugs, and all things both “Murchie’s-style” and Victoria-style itself. The store is bright and well-laid out, with an attractive store-front in the mall. Plan to spend a good 10 to 15 minutes there browsing all of the merchandise and leave with a great coffee or tea in hand. Directly outside the Murchie’s doors are tables and chairs to enjoy your refreshments. Don’t miss any of the Murchie’s locations if you’re in Victoria. It’s been a staple for what seems like forever.
