This was the best restaurant meal I’ve ever had. The food itself was amazing. I got the Bistro burger with fries and plum sauce, and this restaurant has really nailed their food selections. "bin 4" is a potent antidote to our sometimes underwhelming, fast food culture. Many claim to elevate the humble patty on a bun to gourmet entree stardom, but this "lounge" is among the rare few who genuinely deliver. I've been disappointed by many a stale, sesame-spackled loaf. Their fluffy, Brioche "Signature" ... bun, alone, convinced me of their passion and caring. "The Bistro" (chicken), exquisitely seasoned and perfectly cooked, topped with slabs of brie and bacon is Oh My, Stunning! My lunch buddy inhaled her "bin 96 Burner." Bison, a very lean protein, is easily ruined on a grill. Here they've mastered it. The lively and imaginative cocktail roster is also a brilliant complement. We settled in nicely with a strawberry rhubarb spritzer and the lychee mojito - an expectedly flavourful East/West fusion. Overall their concept demonstrates a lot of original thought. Our Yates location server, Emma, was cheerful and charming. During our visit, the kitchen seemed a bit slow (but worth the wait.) Still she comp'd some of our bill. Thumbs-up to such integrity. Where’s the juice ! Not here that’s for sure. Dining with friends, the regular burger was so dry it was void of flavour.. also ordered the lang burger, if it wasn’t for the fat that lamb is so distinctive one would think they are eating cardboard. A restaurant with the word BURGER in ... its name should not have this issue with two orders on the same table.. it’s a pass… no second chances here either. Read more

I have wanted to like this place. I honestly have. I have held on on writing a review for so long because every time I visit, I hope my experience will be better than the time before, but it never is. Last visit, we waited an hour for our burgers, my ... add bacon was missing, the bison burger was so horribly overcooked, the burgers are oversauced and messy and the French fries always taste liked they've been cooked in a frying vat that seriously needs cleaning. Basically, acrid and dirty. The strawberry salad came with half a strawberry (3 thin slices of a strawberry that didn't even amount to a whole strawberry). It's obvious to me that they are cutting costs. And my biggest pet peeve, my drink ran empty several times... and I had to go ask for a refill. Even at that, she forgot, and we left parched. Came here for the first time on a late Saturday night with my girl because they had a half off burger deal with any drink purchase after 9 pm (they also have a standard day happy hour as well). It's truly hard to find a good burger under $15-20 so ... with the half off deal it I paid about $12 after adding some extra items to it. We had the angry bull and the breakfast club which were both absolutely delicious, along with the bruschetta and a couple of drinks. I normally don't order burgers at restaurants but this one was one of the best especially for the price. Drinks didn't seem as strong or flavorful as others, so the food definitely outshines it. Regardless, what truly made our night was the bar staff, specifically Grace, our bartender, and Maya. They were both incredibly kind, attentive, easygoing, and helped both of us with our questions and picking drink and food orders. I was super impressed and felt incredibly welcomed with the experience Grace and Maya provided for us. If you get the privilege them for your service definitely throw an extra tip their way!!!
