Stumbled upon The Bubble Tea Place in Victoria Chinatown and it did not disappoint. We tried their Oolong Tea & Fire Rooster (Mango Papaya Pineapple) with traditional boba and mango jelly and boy that was exactly what we wanted to beat the heat on a hot summer afternoon. Huge selection of flavours (the syrup bottles were displayed nicely against the wall!). Tried the bubble milk tea with almond flavour. The bubble tea has a brown sugar flavour, although it was a bit tough compared to the usual boba. The drinks were huge so it’s a good value for ... money. The service was quick and efficient too. This was our first time and was the best experience. The person working did a great job of explaining how the menu is setup, gave us a real recommendation and advised customer favourites. The bubble tea is delicious with many great flavors to choose from, this restaurant has always been a favorite spot of mine. The atmosphere is great, very cozy and relaxed although limited seating. Staff are friendly and quick at preparing drinks.
