Worst customer service. I bought two bags of rice crackers, which were advertised as $2.99 each. The cashier said the price appeared to be $4.29, so we checked the price tag. There was a price tag saying $2.99. The manager later came, looked at me, and said, "That was from last week." What? ... It's not my business they didnt take away last week price tag. It was a freaking misadvertisement. She didn't even apologize. I had to wait for about 10 minutes to get a $2.60 refund. My time is much more valuable than that. Read more

Dropped in for a quick shopping while in Victoria. Fairly large store with a wide variety of products. The location caters to East Asian clients and this have a large section of Asian products including greens, ready to eat dishes and products. Found vegetable and other produce quite fresh. The ... bakery section was bit smaller than other chains. There are few stations for self checkout. The store maintenance and cleaning was fairly good. Read more

NOT what it used to be. I used to get the Chinese food often and it was so good for the price/convenience. Unfortunately the last two times I went they were out of Singapore noodles and not making more (it was just after 5??? Are you not prepping for dinner rush?) ... Whatever, carry on. The sweet and sour pork and ginger beef were so mushy and soft, it was awful. It tasted like it was made hours earlier and had just been sitting there. Why not make food as it’s needed? The person before and after me both wanted Singapore noodles but didn’t get anything when they were told they’re out and not making more, while the other dishes looked (and tasted) like they had been sitting for a while. I love Fairways, all the locations offer a great deli full of great deals. There is always a wonderful selection in their bakeries,meat, seafood and produce departments. The produce is the freshest I've ever seen consistently in a grocery store. Always an amazing selection of Asian foods . This grocery store is ... the best in town.
