Just happened by and saw the sign. Stopped in and had the greatest butter and pecan tarts around...incredible pastry, not overlt sweet. A lovely Chai latte and latte to accompany them with shady seats at their sidewalk table.

Had lunch at Bubby Rose on Cook Street with homemade sandwiches with vegetable soup special. Also one London Fog. Service was friendly and fast and food was fresh and tasty. Reasonable price of $11 per person plus the tea. Steady stream of customers about half to stay and half getting baking to go; a ... section for day old and two day old bread. Great little place with indoor and outdoor seating. Good selection of vegan food for a light meal. Terrific coffee as well. Say hi to Esteban as you walk in. I enjoyed the vegan chili w a gluten free bun.

I’ve been here a dozen times with friends and it’s always enjoyable. They have amazing mochas and it’s what I usually get. Their croissants and breakfast sandwiches are definitely worth the try if you’re looking for something savory. All of their desserts are delicious.
