Great choice of sandwich, mine was fresh and vegetarian. It lacked flavors and spices. A little bland for me but very good all the same. Quite long service because there are quite a few people. Good place, I come back.

My mom and I popped in here this morning for a breakfast sandwich and a London Fog each. One of the best Fogs I have ever had and the sandwich was beyond delicious, not greasy. The employees were quite wonderful which made our experience here, even better. The location feels ... tucked away from the downtown core which is nice even though you are right in downtown Victoria. The best sandwiches and wraps. Dine in, take out, or delivered to you by Skip. Originated 9 years ago, the bistro has been under new ownership for the past 3 years. Staff are pleasant and friendly. Priced just right. Stop in for happy hour daily to purchase a 12-oz coffee ... for $2.50. I recommend this quick little lunch or breakfast stop for some tasty food. Read more

I had high hopes for getting my breakfast sandwich fix at Rise and Grind Coffee after researching different breakfast spots in downtown Victoria and reading their reviews. Rise and Grind Coffee definitely hit the spot! I ordered the BLAST and it was very satisfying! The bacon was ... crispy, the avocado was fresh and creamy, it was nice and saucy without the bread getting soggy, and I felt full from the sandwich. I replaced the multi-grain bread with sourdough bread. The sourdough bread was not what I was expecting as it was soft. I ordered my sandwich "to go", and they make it easy to eat on the go, which I really appreciate. It was wrapped in an aluminum foil pouch and paper, which made it easy to consume the sandwich without any mess on the go. I will definitely be back! Read more

Great little spot with a nice, friendly vibe. Wonderful staff and a clean business. Good sandwiches, room for improvement on the bread selection, but happy and satisfied nonetheless. Definitely worth an espresso and a breaky or regular sandwich if you need something made with love.
