Courtyard Cafe - Victoria, British Columbia

We usually visit Victoria every year for a week or so. We have enjoyed the out of the way, quiet and non rushed coffee shop. Every day we would have either lunch or an afternoon coffee break there. Fresh baked goods are delicious!! Employees are ever changing but are ... usually well trained. Our recent visit, all was the same as expected. BUT they have hit the customer with both inflated pricing and shrink-flated beverages. Due to this we only visited the Courtyard Cafe once, as we shifted our business to StarBucks and saved $8 or more on each visit. We were quite disappointed about having to make the change. Should have we just gone to the restaurant for service at the same price? Note: Keep in mind that a lot of customers are not familiar with the layout of the Hotel. Would suggest clearer directions to the washrooms once you exit the elevator at the main floor. Read more

The latte was made from a automatic dispenser, the same one that you would get at the super 8 breakfast buffet. I got a wrap, 6/10, a croissant, 6/10 and a latte ,1/10, for 25$

We went to the cafe for a quick bite and were looking forward to recommendations from locals for places to visit in Victoria. Jerson truly has impeccable customer service skills, and we got all that we expected. Delectable pastries, refreshing drinks and a bunch of ideas.

Great homemade muffins and wraps. Could use a little better drink selection.
