Maude Hunter’s Pub - Victoria, British Columbia

A great place to go for lunch or dinner. The Cobb Salad with Chicken and the Maude Burger are our favorites. Prices are good as well.

Fantastic and affordable drink selection, creative and delicious cocktails, amazing atmosphere, superb music bingo night (even tho I didn’t win anything). Will come back again, although hesitant to bring more people as I don’t want to give away this hidden gem. Thanks for all the fun!!!

Great servers most often. Gets very busy during wing nights, popular for uvic students at that time. Food is very reasonably priced, and solid pub grub

A typical friendly pub atmosphere. The pub is upstairs, with a good variety on the menu for food and drinks. Parking is very limited, but street parking near by is available.

Got sat at exactly 5pm on a Wing Wednesday night at Maude Hunters'. Highlights (just my opinion): Nice little patio seating Friendly staff Reasonable prices Great flavours for wings on wing night (got Honey Hot) I had the beef dip; it was a regular beef dip, nothing too memorable, could have used a bit more beef ... closer to the end tips of the sandwich. The fries were something I wanted to try, seasoned (which was nice and thoughtful), but unfortunately got a little top salty (and I love my salt). The wings were really good though, picked Honey Hot, which was a right balance of heat and sweetness (I usually get medium spice in ethnic restaurants) for me. Husband's chicken burger didn't have too thick of a batter, and reasonable size which looked good. The pickle was a nice touch. Service I really liked, redeemed for the fries and my beef dip- checked in on us, we didn't have to wait too long for beverage refills! The place had a nice ambience, local pub-style, had full seats indoors once we were leaving after 6pm. Read more
