Been wanting to go here. Went for lunch. Clam Choweder excellent so were the fish tacos. Service with Nic and staff top notch. And the views are unbeatable. So pleased we went where there for 2 hours!
Had the perfect brunch here! The view was nice, our waitress was sweet, and the food was delicious and good portion! We ordered the Clam Boil, Chicken Tenders with Salad, Monte Cristo and Non-Alcoholic Espresso Martini. Would recommend all of the 4 items! Chicken Tenders – good breading & crispy chicken Espresso Martini - ... its like a light version of hot chocolate!! Good balance of coffee + cocoa Clam Boil – so delish! Portion is really good too for the price! Read more
Last time I was there it was called the Odgen point cafe. I have to say I liked it better before they renovated it. It was more cozy. Now they split it inside into two parts , but it doesn't look nor feel good. They have more outside seating which is nice. The service was ... fast and friendly. Prices for food went way up, too expensive for a place like this. So I had the chicken fingers and fries, because it seemed like a fair price at $13.- Fries tasted good, but it was only a very small portion. Fries are sooo cheap, why skimp on it?? The chicken fingers had a good flavour and so the sipping sauce but to much breadding and not enough chicken. I think in the future I will come back only for a coffee and a pastry as their prices for that seemed ok. Read more
We were a group of eight for dinner and were able to be seated right away. The view is great. The building layout is not amazing but we were not there for an architectural review but dinner with friends. Our group was happy with the food. It’s not ... fine dining but given the good value for the money it was a good experience. The restaurant was not busy when we visited which made it easy to talk. Parking is easy as they have their own free parking. They are collocated with cruise ship terminal so it’s easy to imagine traffic being crazy when a cruise ship dumps a few thousand people. Perfectly situated! One can’t stroll alongside the shore on Dallas Street without getting totally excited by the sight of harbour lights enlightening the Breakwater Bistro and Bar. [The wind blew in so many knots that even seagulls had trouble gliding above the white capped waves, breaking rough against the rocks and ... unscrambling the pebbles on the beach. ] Panicked by this sudden storm, Breakwater Bistro appeared in our nearby distance - to our rescue, but also turned out to be an unforgettable & delightful experience to repeat.] Inside this harbour restaurant, and unfazed by the elements of nature, hot signature vegan chili, hamburgers, salads, grilled cheese made it to the tables. The bar has the largest variety of alcoholic and nonalcoholic choices, garnished in creative ways. The signature food so well served by joyful, knowledgeable and friendly waitresses who really make every guest feel appreciated. Thanks chef and crew for exceptional service and delicious menu choices. Read more
