La Roux Patisserie - Victoria, British Columbia

One of my vacation's best highlights is my morning coffee and fresh Croissants. I Googled and found this little upscale French Bakery. La Roux Patisserie. My wife and I arrived around 8:50 AM, ten minutes before they opened their doors. We noticed we would not be the first patrons, and a few ... other customers and one of the employees were outside waiting. The owner and chef opened the door for the employee and announced that they would be opening for business shortly. Anyways, after we got in, the same employee, with a very positive attitude and a big smile, served our coffee and Croissants. We got three Croissants and two coffees. The croissants were fresh, warm, and tasty, and the coffee was fresh, hot, dark, and perfect. We enjoyed everything from the patio sitting to our choice of coffee and pastries in La Roux, and most importantly, I recommend you go to this little upscale French Bakery, particularly if you are visiting Victoria. Honestly the best cake I've had in Canada! It was absolutely perfect! Coffee was lovely too! The cafe is beautifully decorated and the staff are very attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

One of the best desserts place that I have ever been too. Carrot cake and passion fruit tart is insane, loved it ❤️❤️ we tried Paris Brest with hazelnut filling, that was good too 😊

Great place to take your girlfriend, your friend or your Mom for Mother's Day coming up. You will find the best tasting fancy Bakery items here. You can drop in for tea and enjoy the beautiful inside of the Bakery while enjoying one of their delicious baked goodies or just ... enjoy yourself a nice cup of tea and sit and relax inside or outside on one of their tables while, taking in the fresh air and the view. They also make specialty cakes if you need one for a birthday or other event that you have coming up. A patisserie that makes you feel like you travelled to Paris. Aesthetically pleasing and a wide variety of pastries. The bread pudding with the side of custard on the side was amazing and must try. Many items here look very well made; Priced at an average of $6.75. lots of ... seating for two but maybe 1-2 tables for 4. It's also nice that they have a display that you can look at as you're walking along the street instead of needing to go in. Read more
