This place has the best food and is always busy which adds to the great atmosphere. Lots of sports to view on the many screens. Fun visiting my old neighbourhood, this property was the location of an old style drugstore.

We visited this restaurant last night, and what a disappointing experience! We asked for napkins and beer when we ordered. The beer was great, but no napkins arrived. The server never checked on us from the time we got our drinks until we received the bill. When we finally mentioned ... the missing napkins, she offered to bring them right then. We told her we needed them for our gums earlier, and she suggested we could have used the restroom. Oh my goodness! Imagine having to go to the restroom every time you need to clean your mouth! And the best part? We had to tip 18% for this "service"! So disappointed with the customer service here. Read more

Our second meal at the beagle. Suppertime is very busy; had to wait in line to watch the hockey game. There’s a winter special on pints – only $6.75. A solid list of local craft beers. This was my local as a university student. Always a great time with an awesome atmosphere and hard working staff. I haven't been back for 10+ years and the atmosphere is still wonderful for the lunch we had. Noticed a lot of retirees who still love a good pint at ... lunch. They have an excellent selection of beers on tap. Food is still top notch. I look forward to my next visit! Read more
