The pizzas we ordered (and many won't like this) had way too much cheese on it. All six of us had a ridiculous amount of cheese that we each removed from our average tasting pizzas. I wouldn't recommend Romeo's any longer- they used to be great but I now find the ... food sub par and underwhelming. I personally pulled a hair out of my slice as well, very offputting. Romeo's is a popular, family friendly restaurant. The staff were attentive, pleasant and professional. I had the daily special with the lamb skewers. Unfortunately, the lamb was overdone making them dry and tough. I’ve never eaten in the restaurant and I’ve only had the gyro + green salad. Honestly, very impressed with the gyro!!! I’d say it’s very small, but damn is it yummy! It’s very simple and the sauce and meat is all well seasoned, takes about 15-20 min to prepare and ... you pick it up from that little window on the side. Staff are nice. It’s my go to lunch because I work close to the hillside location. I don’t feel like trying anything else on the menu bc I like the gyro so much but I’ve heard it’s good from friends. Read more

The server was good but a little slow drinks were out before refills offered others got food ahead of us even though we ordered quite a bit ahead of those people. I ordered take out from the Romeo’s hillside location for my son’s volleyball team recently. Christopher, the general manager, was wonderful to work with. The food was hot, fresh and very tasty. I can tell that Christopher takes great pride in providing quality food and his team ... did not disappoint. Our whole group was very pleased with our meals.
