This little family run diner is always a reliable stop for lunch or breakfast. I’ve never had a bad meal here and I’ve been going here for years. For its price, the food was great. I had one of their lunch specials, Ginger Beef. The serving size was big. The price on their menu is inclusive of tax. This is home cooking style diner at it finest. Not fancy, simply good food, fair prices. We went at lunch as we were visiting my son who works close by. This place is hopping. A lot of people order ahead and pick up. There was a constant stream of people. We ... managed to snag a table. The Wonton soup amazing with good portions of ingredients in it. We also had cheese burgers that were homemade and loved the crispy crinkle cut fries. The regular blue collar clientele and the people who run the place interact like family. This place is the antithesis to many in Victoria. No frills, generous portions, good prices. The food is standard American diet, yet well done. For the health conscious: it's greasy. Try it but don't come here too often

If you are looking for a place for great breakfast/lunch with reasonable prices, give this place a try. First time coming, and I felt pretty impressed. The owner lady was pretty friendly and straight to the point, and within 7 minutes the food was on my table. I ordered Hot ... Roast Beef Sandwich and was surprised that someone would put gravy on a sandwich, but it was delicious. This place seems to offer a wide selection of food, Canadian and Chinese (Canto).
