I love original joes. I’m from Calgary AB. Nd over there it’s different. It’s too bad, I just to love having the wings, quesadillas, bruschetta and calamari. I have been disappointed with everything I get here. The quesadillas as lack lustre and hardly have anything in them, the wings are greasy, ... the calamari it’s just batter, and the bruschetta is okay, but missing flavour and the pieces of bread, which are supposed to be cut pieces of a baguette, crispy and fresh, are just slices of a bun that are soggy and covered with butter. The crispy chicken burger was so flipping good try it with the dill dip!! Our server was amazing! Went back today Tuscany village: party of 6+ everything was good except the French onion soup. It was the first time that my family and I went to this place and the truth is that I have eaten better in other places and paying the same for a menu with similar characteristics to the ones we were given here. The food arrived at the table very ... cold. The Benny eggs are a disaster, I think they have no idea what Benny eggs are, they were hard-boiled eggs with a sauce on top, and I didn't like the attention of the staff at all. The hamburger was good, for this reason I give it 2 stars. Obviously we will not come back here. I want to thank Mr. Douglas Harrison for his apology and his concern. He invited us back to his restaurant to show us that they were capable of making a menu that lived up to what we expected. We decided to go back and give them this opportunity, and really everything has been in perfect condition. Thank you! We will go again. This restaurant is walking distance from me and I've been many times. The best thing about this original joes other than the food and staff, is consistency . The staff is always kind and the food is always fantastic. It's the best neighborhood eatery in the area. The house music was a little loud and didn't match the decor or clientele. I had the Cobb salad, considering I have never had one before I don't know if it was good or not. $70+ tip for 3 people seems a bit pricey. Service was good. Attentive.
