The lady was cleaning the floor when we walked in, then brought us food without washing hands. She kept cleaning the floor when we ate and the smell of floor cleaner was so strong I couldn’t even smell the food. This was my 1st time at Pho Sate and I have to say a real disappointment. The bubble tea was so sweet I had to bring it home and mix with milk and ice. It was clearly made from a powder and the pearls were hard and small. I had the prawn ... curry with vermicelli. There was a good number of prawns but the sauce was so salty I couldn't eat it and I had mixed it with the noodles. The broccoli tasted old and stale. I'm used to Fresh Lemongrass which never fails but a friend and I decided to give this place a try. This was eatery number ninety-six in Vernon. This was my first ever visit to Pho Sate. It is one of four Vietnamese restaurants in town. Fresh Lemongrass has always been my go-to Vietnamese restaurant as well as my parents. It's great that there's a place downtown. I was surprised how busy it was ... inside. I ordered the one vegetarian main dish on the menu--Tofu Pad Thai. As someone who visits SEA every year since 2019, my Tofu Pad Thai expectations are sky high like Cee-Lo. The noodles were a bit thinner than I expected, and it was missing that peanut sauce kick. However, I liked the lime flavour with the hot sauce bowl and the bowl of crumbs to add on. Again, I know I have eaten Pad Thai in Phuket literally hundreds of times so I know I will be nitpicking. It was still delicious. I paid $16.05 after tax. This place doesn't do table service so tipping is optional. Friendly staff. Great big portion of Tofu Pad Thai. I'm glad I gave this place a try after all of these years! 96 is done. Read more

Super nice noodles soup. Dry Garlic Pork are crisp. Spring Roll is homemade. Nice clean set up. Very friendly staff. We love everything. Highly recommend 👌. Will be back for sure! So good👍
