JDON has been around forever and for good reason. The food is always delicious and the service is always great. The menu is a delightful mix of innovative dishes and classic favorites, all prepared with the freshest ingredients. JDON restaurant is a true gem.
Great food, great prices, incredibly kind staff. Sporting some custom Skevik skis on the wall is a nice touch. Go get some.
I love this place. Relaxing, minimal interior, good service, and the food is exactly what it should be - Authentic Japanese fare that delivers volume and flavor, and knows what it is. Satisfying, delicious, without trying to do too many things and doing them worse as a result.
This was my final Japanese restaurant I had yet to try in Vernon. After multiple visits to Japan and annual trips to Asia, it is great to see Vernon have a large number of Asian restaurants. J-Don has been here for a long time. Donburi and Udon dishes are most commonly ordered ... here. It's definitely their specialties. I really like how the restaurant is decorated and how bright it is. They give you a tray for your bowl, a cup of water, and chopsticks. The Veggie Don came to $15.33 after tax. It tasted pretty good. Staff is extremely friendly. I recommend this place and shall return!
