Hubby & and I were in town for the weekend and were staying next door. We decided to give it a try a little late in the evening and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. Between the two of us we sampled the wonton soup, spring rolls, chicken ... chow mein, pork fried rice, almond chicken, lemon chicken, and the show stopper, Ginger Beef (which was everything you always want Ginger Beef to be, but seldom is). Probably the best Chinese restaurants I have been in in20 years. Service was wonderful, the atmosphere was great. 2 things I really appreciated... the background d music was soft and relaxing and the food was so fresh... the fried proteins (ginger beef and sweet and sour pork) were lightly coated ... so the meat was forward and the sauces were not heavy sugared Sorry I'm just passing through and my food praise would probably higher if my sense of smell wasn't diminished. I took out dinner. I went to the store to place my order and was told it would take 30 minutes to be ready, but it was actually ready in 20 minutes and the staff was very nice. I was surprised that there was only one spring roll for $4. (Their ... menu didn't say how many rolls they had, but I thought $4 for a spring roll, which wasn't particularly large, was overpriced.) Very clean and nice Asian Restaurant. Food is tasty and large size. There is big individual room suitable for company or big family gathering. Worthy to try it at Vernon area.
