It was my first time here and I was pleasantly surprised. To be honest, I didn’t even know the type of cuisine it served. Portions were big. I respect that. The only critique I have of this place is making it look like a ‘fast-food’/’swift-service’ locale and only serving you ... after an extended period of time. I live 2 hours from here and have stopped on the way home from an event to grab take out. Tonight, got home and discovered one of the containers was full of mould as it had expired Dec 27. I called to give the restaurant a heads up so no ... one else would grab expired product. They attempted to offer me a discount the next time I’m in but I won’t be in the area for several months. At that point the man was defensive and offered no alternatives. Disappointing since it’s such a treat to pick up the rare time I am in the area. Hopefully just a one off. Sh** happens. When I first walked in, it did not feel like an Express restaurant. It was spacious, airy and the decor was nice and contemporary. We ordered the Falafel box which came with six freshly made Falafels, grilled veggies with Thyme and Garlic and some Greek salad. The portion size was ... adequate for two to share, the ingredients were fresh and the quality of the food was high. I would recommend their Lafa breads and hummus too. Food is delicious and fairly large but feels pricy. The atmosphere is clean, modern and huge. Got the humus plate. It's really heavy for 2 people as an appetizer (oily).
