Angelo’s Homestyle Restaurant - Vaughan, Ontario

My very first time having breakfast at the place it was really good I enjoyed the home fries and the eggs white was on point the strawberry milk is a must try 👌 I would highly recommended this place the service is 9.5/10

- New ownership - I used to come by this place once or twice a year. 4 months ago the ownership changed and it is no longer a simple diner. It's now half Indian nightclub during the evening and half the diner it used to be. As a table of 4, we ... waited a full hour for 4 breakfast plates. There was only one other table in the restaurant. The service was painful. It seems whoever was the supplier still works with the restaurant as the food was mostly the same. Any differences are likely due to a new cook preparing the classic recipes. Overall this would be ok if the service wasn't so slow. If you are stuck and need brunch somewhere then this works. Home fries seemed freezer burnt. Butter on the toast had an unusual after taste, was it really butter?? Bacon burnt on 1 side and raw on the other. Coffee was good. Would not return nor recommend

Ok but not as good as it once was - used to be a five star breakfast place. The pros - food came out hot and portions are large. The bad - I don't think they could cut the peameal any thinner (definitely not "thick cut" as the menu described), no breakfast ... potatoes (battered wedges) and they won't give you a glass of tap water. If you want water you have to buy a bottle. Apparently the new owners own fast food pita restaurants - maybe they are trying to run a sit down like a fast food restaurant. Read more

The restaurant is very good but they need to improve on there appetizers as fries with gravy,poutine, etc are not appetizers they are considered sides. Angelo's should revise the appetizer portion of the menu. The salad needs to be improved on as there were only a couple ... pieces of both tomatoes and cucumbers. Also the presentation of the salad was a sloppy . The steak is supposed to be 10 oz but appeared to be a 6 oz instead. The steak is a rip off I do not advised getting it as you are not getting what you pay for. Read more
