Had the beef teriyaki bento box to go. Wasn’t as good as on previous three occasions. Didn’t recognize any of the staff being the same as from 6 months ago. Beef overcooked, not enough dressing on the salad, edamame served cold instead of warm. Sushi and sashimi was quite good. ... This place was good. The decor was really cute and we got seated in the “little private rooms”. We both got the dynamite roll combo I believe and I upgraded mines with avocado. The workers were really kind so it made up for the okay sushi. I don’t know if ... it was just how the batch of rice that day but it was on the dryer side. Never judge a book by its cover! Food was fresh, and very nice staff. I only removed a star its because in total, the food was overpriced. But was worth the try! I can guarantee Ariake is the best sushi restaurant in this neighborhood.

One of the best sushis in my life I got Salmon Mountain Roll and it was second to none. I definitely recommend this place as the staff are really kind and considerate. The sushi was absolutely fresh and the portions were more than enough.

One roll per person is enough to get full, even at dinnertime. The rolls are huge with a great rice to filling ratio. And such variety! Big lunch specials. Great miso soup. My go-to a la carte sushi spot!
