I think our experience was especially bad here because they were planning to move. Unfortunately, for me that is not an excuse. When we made the reservation for 14 people, they asked us what appetizers we wanted. We found that weird but didn't think too much of it. We were a ... group of 12, and they had about 3 other parties of roughly the same size. Basically 8/12 things we tried to order were not available. The staff are very polite and service is great. However, a restaurant is still judged on its food, and that is where I was disappointed. The prices are high, and thus correspondingly, the expectations and bar are also raised. I got pasta and the fare was bland. I have to ... say that they do use fresh and good ingredients. We didn't find a place to eat on a Friday night. We decided to wing it and go here since this was the only place wothout any wait time. We walked in and it was quiet empty. Stylish place, Amazing food, Great service. First of all I have to say I hardly write reviews but this place made me want to write one. They have excellent service and make u feel like u are at home. They customized our orders and served our food with so much ... love and warmth. So much flavours that my mouth just could not stop asking for more. It's the best experience I have ever had going to a restaurant in Canada. Came with high expectation as our friends raved about this place and this place exceeded our high expectations.. I've been to Spinello's a total of 3 times now, and the first two times were off the charts delicious, but the last time I went, it was average. One of the best things about this place though is that the owner and chef will come and talk to you ... and make you feel like you're not just another face in the crowd.
