Romano’s Restaurant - Vaughan, Ontario

The food was excellent and the staff was friendly. However the restaurant was extremely noisy and it was very difficult to have a conversation with my friends. Mind you the restaurant was full on a Friday night and there were a few parties going on.

A good spot for some Italian food north of the city. The interior is really nicely styled and makes you feel like you’re in the heart of downtown. Food and service were fair, not exceptional but good. Would come back and try another dish or two!

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch here and was well taken care of by our server. She was knowledgeable about the menu and was able to make great suggestions. Would recommend family style dining, and their solo portions are generous.

Absolutely beautiful restaurant and bathroom, wonderful staff, and delicious authentic Italian food. All of my family agrees this is the best Italian food we've had in Canada. Really well done, I look forward to returning soon!

We loved the aesthetic and the vibe! And the service was efficient and friendly! I love their wine selection and enjoyed their house wine, forgot to ask for the name as I liked it a lot and would love to have some at home. The food was mostly good. The ... highlight of our meal was the Santorini salad and shrimp from the appetizer menu. Salad was refreshing and the combination of flavors hits all the right button. The margherita was too cheesy. Not sure i was eating the pizza i ordered, not much tomato and basil. Pasta was okay, a bit too saucy and oily but the seafood in my pasta was cooked to perfection. Dessert wasn't what we were here for so we already didn't expect a lot. We had the tiramisu and the coconut cream pie, both too sweet, literally eating granulated sugar each scoop especially the coconut cream pie. Read more
