Planned lunch with friends. Decided on Evviva because it has many vegan options. Have never been and was so glad I finally got to try it. Went to the Vaughn location. As a vegan it was thrilling to be able to order a Bloody Caesar. Very good…a ... little on the spicey side so if you don’t like spicey make sure you ask them to ease off. Comes with a hot spicey green bean in it. For brunch I ordered the vegan Traditional Eggs Benedict. Came with vegan corned beef. The “egg was a tofu base and had great texture…they even had a “faux” egg yolk which was incredibly similar texture to a regular yolk. Very good sized serving. Our server, Teresa, was absolutely excellent. Just the right amount of attentiveness plus knowledgeable about the vegan offerings and so pleasant and friendly. Inside the restaurant itself is very noisy. Tables are fairly close to one another. Sitting outside in their patio might have been better, but it was full when we arrived. They don’t take reservations so we made sure we got there with time to spare so we wouldn’t be rushing our meal. Overall a super great meal with wonderful company and excellent service. I even took home a vegan Reuben sandwich for my husband. He devoured it prior to me being able to take a picture. Will definitely return. Read more
Great place for a brunch in Vaughan. Went here for a birthday celebration for a friend. It was very packed when we first showed up and the table wasn’t ready for a while, but because the larger group came later - the time ended up working out. Food was great, I ... got Atlantic smoked salmon eggs Benedict - this was slightly overcooked for the poached eggs but amazing nonetheless. Home fries are good too! Got mimosa pitchers that were a big quantity and delicious. They even gave my friend a waffle with fruits and a candle for her birthday which was very nice as well. The food was priced fairy and they have a few other things on the menu I would want to try. Recommend this place if you’re looking for an aesthetic and a reasonable brunch spot! Read more
At this point, I am not a fan of their breakfast pancakes or waffles - dry and not fluffy. I did, however, try the bacon and homefries, and those were delicious. What saved this location for me was the sandwich I ordered! So delicious!! The bun it was on was fresh ... and perfectly baked. The chili chicken Aioli was fabulous. I'm still craving it. I liked the salad that it came with, but it had a bit too much dressing for me. They do have a kids menu - I'd say the food is overpriced. It's very clean - the service is fast and friendly. We got seated right away. Overall comfortable, chill environment. Read more
This place is such a delight. No matter what you order it’s amazing. The best fresh orange juice by far. Service is fast. 💨 one note is there server are young and somethings are heard arguing with the manager and giving attitude to he infront of customers sitting down. I ... have been here over 10 times and saw 4 times this happen. The manager however handles it so calmly and my heart hearts for her as this is the new generation having their own thoughts on work ethics. I’m not that old but I do get turned off from such displays it’s disheartening. Everyone is struggling in this economy but the attitude these younger staff has is not the greatest lately. Past two times my food was rushed to my table by my serve with no words and it was upsetting to see. I know the company is doing their best but staffing is an issue everywhere. Hang in there. Your regulars see this. Read more
Between the atmosphere and the service is unfortunately a menu that is the victim of inflation (maybe). I really used to like this place because everything came together and the servings offered the value you'd expect - this has changed. For example, the breakfast sandwich in the photo is $22 - ... unbelievable. The plate looks empty because we skipped on the 'bit of salad' it was supposed to include. We also ordered chicken and waffles which, aside from the calorie value my body needed, did not meet the crunchy and fluffy standards you'd expect. All that said, the americano was delicious.
