We are from Minnesota, and once we got to the area, we were craving Butter Chicken. This place is right near where we are staying and we decided to give it a shot! My boyfriend and I agreed that this was the BEST butter chicken we have ever had. It ... was perfectly spicy - you can choose how spicy you want it - I got a level 2 and it was delicious. My boyfriend got a 4 and it was perfect for him - he loves super spicy food! The staff were just wonderful as well! Very courteous and kind! What a hidden gem! I will definitely be coming back to Bombay Bhel. It was absolutely delicious. We got the samosa chaat, butter chicken, chicken tikka, biryani and the garlic naan. I loved the butter chicken and the naan! The creaminess and the quality of that butter chicken gravy is ... something else! You won’t regret it. Raj, the owner was incredibly kind and catered the spice levels of our food to our liking. This will definitely be my go to spot for Indian food. Read more

We visited their new location in Times Square (just above BMO) and were impressed. I love that there's an Indian restaurant here and that it's well appointed, with good service. I ordered the Vegetarian Thali. It was just over $20 but was huge. It came with a naan, rice, papad ... and gulaab jamun. I thought it was great. It's the perfect spot for people who are not familiar with Indian food and for those who like it as well. I would highly recommend it. Read more

We came here on a Saturday night and we didn’t have to wait to get a table. We were greeted promptly. The only snafu we had was that the table we were seated at wasn’t exactly clean. We told the staff and they quickly cleaned the table ... instead of moving us to another table. After that situation the rest of our evening went really well. We ordered platters since we all wanted to have a good bit of variety and everything we tasted was on point. Everything packed a lot of flavor and the chicken was very moist.
