Wimpy’s Diner - Vaughan, Ontario

I went with my brother for a nice lunch. Usually I’m satisfied with the food and service here. I don’t think I will ever come back again. I ordered a chicken souvlaki. THERE WAS A ROACH IN MY SALAD. (Next to the olive) I EVEN ATE THE FOOD THAT WAS ... ON TOP OF THE ROACH. The waiters were empathetic about it and didn’t charge us but this is enough to ruin an appetite and never want to come back again. I do not think the kitchen is clean. Read more

Always a good time here for breakfast or brunch. The whole family has a good time. We always have good food and definitely worth its value. Service is good but sometimes slow. But always friendly.

At Wimpy's Diner, we were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions of our meals. The veggie burger with onion rings was sizable and satisfying, while the special burger with waffle fries and French toast was even bigger and more delicious than we anticipated. All day breakfast diner. Plenty of seats and free parking. Friendly, quick efficient service. Avengers themed decor. We ordered: Standard breakfast and a veggie omelette. Both were as expected. I was able to substitute the potatoes for tomatoes. Free refills on coffee. Didn’t get an offer on the hot chocolate I ... ordered so don’t believe there are free refills for that. Came on a Monday morning and was seated right away. This place hits the spot if you’re looking for a typical breakfast place. FYI they do charge for a cup of hot water. Read more

Love coming here on a Sunday morning when I don’t feel like making breakfast. The service is always incredible. The chipotle eggs Benedict was suggested by the server. What a great choice! I eggs were cooked just to my liking.
