Reviews for Duff’s Famous Wings in Vaughan, Ontario
I really enjoyed the wings here they are always fresh and when I ask them to put extra sauce they taste even better. So far one of my top favourite places to have wings. The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is nice as it is near to home ... as well and you can see outside. Read more
Kayla made our experience at the restaurant truly memorable, with her warm demeanor and attentiveness. From the moment we were seated, she greeted us with genuine smile and took her the time to ensure we felt welcome and valued. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive and she provided helpful ... recommendations that perfectly suited our preferences like the honey garlic dip for the chicken. Kayla remained attentive to our needs without being intrusive, always checking in at just the right moments to ensure everything was to our liking. She engaged in friendly conversation, making us feel like old friends rather than just another table. Read more
I’ve been coming to this location on a regular basis for as long as I can remember. The quality and portions of the food have always remained consistent. The service is always nice and the servers are friendly. Atmosphere is okay, but the music is always blaring so it makes it difficult ... to have a conversation if you’re with somebody. Overall, good place to eat and I don’t have much else to say. Read more
A bit disappointed at the wings when they're famous for it. 2 years ago I gave them 3 stars, 2 years later I sti think they're 3 stars. Been here for the second time and the wings were small and dry. Almost like overnight chicken ... Came fast though but that could ... also be why. The meat texture was stiff as if it's pre-cooked. I've definitely had better wings elsewhere. Not a lot of flavors to choose from but saucy ones were quite saucey. After we told the server about this texture the next batch (3rd pound) was better. The Zucchini sticks were good. Although I originally asked for it and Mozzarella Sticks came and the server was adamant that they haven't carried it in a long time. They didn't have Richard's Red when I asked for it. Pretty generous with the side hot sauce. Clean restaurant. Nice servers, some very sweet like the one who told the kitchen about our comments. Just the food quality was disappointing. They do have Tuesday wing specials. Read more
I've been eating here for years and today is my last day. Ordered a pound of medium, lightly sauced. What I got was buffalo sauce soup with a small portion of wings. I think this place only caters to it's Israeli customers. He (manager/owner) was very ... outgoing, chatty and friendly with the Hebrew speaking customers and very cold/undfriendly to my friend (Jamaican) and I (Irish). We ordered a Stella which never came. We got our wings and they didn't seem fresh out the fryer. I know wings and they were definitely sitting out for a while. The manager was unapologetic and began making excuses for why my wings had so much sauce instead of immediately offering to fix the issue. He then proceeded to ask me how many wings I ate instead of walking over to my table to look for himself (1 wing). From then I knew it was a bad idea to send my wings back for a new batch. He was not happy and seemed to wipe his hands clean of us even though we were very polite and well mannered. I can get 10 pounds of wings for $30 no tax at my local butcher, nevermind paying $32.50+tax for "2 pounds" (more like a pound and a half). Wingpourium is way better! Read more
