This amazing museum offers a wonderful experience for art enthusiasts, focusing exclusively on Canadian and Indigenous art. Its in 100-acre property, the museum showcases a blend of natural beauty and cultural richness. Museum is well kept and every art is unique and we loved spending time here. It may take you ... 2-3 hrs to explore every bit of this museum. The museum also features a variety of outdoor activities, such as the Gallery Loop Trail and the Valley Walking Trails, along with the Sculpture Garden and the Minokamik Garden, which highlights Indigenous plantings We did one loop trail after are museum visit which bought us closer to nature. Loved visiting this gallery. It's a small museum dedicated to Canadian Art, and you can conveniently see all the sections in one visit. The grounds are absolutely stunning! Combine the visit with a hike on the beautiful trails surrounding the gallery. Early summer/ late spring is lively. Parking is $7 ... but If you have a Vaughan public library card you can get a free pass (Ansley Grove or VMC). It covers parking+entry+gallery store discount. Read more
Nice visit to see Canadian Art Collection, and the Group of Seven. Not crowded at all. I think it’s not a tourist spot since it’s up north of Toronto, but it actually does have some nice art collection. There are interesting sculptures outdoor and nice park with a ... view near the wedding spot. If only the fees are cheaper, I will visit more often. There’s also $7 parking charge. Read more
The place is beautiful! I completely fell in love with this place because it is designed in a way that it has become a part of the surrounding nature. The exhibitions are superb, and I learned so much about the history of Canada and the land we live on from ... these exhibitions. However, be aware that there is a parking fee (7 CAD) if you are driving. Read more
