Probably just some oxidized flour but the packaged items I bought recently had a soapy taste... otherwise a nice bakery. Impressive selection of food. Great pricing. They accepted Debit over $15. Kind staff.

Your nice lil ma and pop bakery. The Saigon special is flavourful and complimented by the moist baguette. Desserts are reasonable price and who wouldn’t want a viet ice coffee for 3.50?? Cash only. Almost all their bakery items are individually wrapped. The steam BBQ pork bun was pretty dry. Would have been nice to eat a hot banh mi (Viet sandwich) but they say they don't toast their banh mi because the baguettes are made fresh. If you like the bread ... on the crunchy side, you'll like their baguette. The "meatball and sausage" sandwich came with Vietnamese meatball, Vietnamese pork sausage, pickled carrots, mayo and cilantro. Not sure if the other sandwiches come with cucumbers and paté.
