We were seated in the back of the restaurant. Each table allows for some privacy. To order or get the bill you can click on the bell. This place seems to be known for their fried chicken. Ordered candy chicken half and half along with truffle fries and kimchi fries both were excellent in taste. Serving sizes were slightly small in comparison to the pricing. The older server was super patient she gave us boxes and bag to take the left overs. She did not rush us and ... was helpful the younger was opposite. We were seated right by the kitchen and billing area so there was a lot of noise and commotion the entire time we were there. Atmosphere is very similar to restaurants in Korea in terms of aesthetic. Food was great in my opinion, we had their spicy candy chicken, bbq chicken and their honey garlic chicken. They were all great only downfall the honey garlic one was quite dry compared to the other two. We sat in the area with curtains which we enjoyed because we had our ... privacy while eating and no one was watching us while we ate. Overall very comfortable seating arrangements. The 2 stars are for the mandatory 15% tip no matter what size the group. We were only 3 people and I have been to multiple restaurants and gratuity is always added in a group of 4-5 or more. The server had told us before we had even received our food that we had to make sure to tip 15%. Tips are given as a reward of good service should not be mandatory, the owner should pay their employees fair wages instead of forcing tips on customers. The picture attached is of the water we received while eating and it did not seem like restaurant quality at all. At least serve your customers their drinks in an adequate manner. If visiting this establishment be prepared to tip 15% even if you are only 2 people and even if you have not received the best service. They make it mandatory. Tipping is getting out of hand. At this restaurant, the waiter told not just our table but every customer that a 10% tip is mandatory as soon as you place your order. We generally tip, but VOLUNTARILY. We ordered a C8 combo for half black bean noodles and half chicken Tangsuyuk, ... and a A1 dish spicy rice cake. The portions were shocking tiny for the price. We even double-checked with the waiter to make sure it was the right amount. The chicken is not an option for Tangsuyuk because the meat was too lean, which made it dry and tough after frying. It seems like because of that they didn't want to fry it too much, which left the batter not crispy enough. The Tteokbokki also tasted very plain. Maybe their fried chicken is the best choice on the menu, but we wouldn't come back anymore. Read more
