Phoenix Restaurant is a Hong-Kong fusion diner, and it was my first time here. On the way inside, there were gacha machines and a claw machine for customers to play. The interior of the restaurant looked nice, the tabling and ambiance were all OK. I ordered the Y04 Combo - Baked ... Pork Chop & Cheese w/ Tomato and Cream Sauce (subbed rice for macaroni), came with HK Milk Tea I asked for a cold milk tea so it's added $1.75). This combo comes with a free hot drink, but added fee if you want it cold. The dish was $16.50 (+1.75 for cold m.t). The dish itself was not bad, I could taste the tomato sauce, but not so much of the cream sauce. Pork Chop was juicy. Not bad overall. I'd come back for the Hainanese chicken rice! The menu has A LOT to offer. Feel free to choose something from the combo sets, it's a safe bet because it comes with a free hot drink (HK tea, Coffee, coffee & tea, lemon tea, or lemon water). Decor is nice. Place is clean. Waiting staff efficient. Food is not the best, but not the worst. Price is higher than other similar chain with similar food / quality. Not a bad HK bistro if the location is convenient to you. The curry dish here is very good. The ... "baked pork rice casserole" is OK - not enough sauce. Tried the "Japanese" curry seafood fried rice - doesn't taste like Japanese at all. Read more
Service was fast, sometimes too fast. Food is hit or miss. Wish this restaurant was cleaner. As for the taste, I rolled the dice got the fish fillet and king mushroom in miso sauce on rice. The dish was exactly as I imagined. Great dish, would order it again.
Decent asian lunch food and snacks! I always go for the baked tomato ane cream pork on rubber! Always super fast service! Was more expensive than it used to be away $16 power dish+HK tea Conbo.
