We like to visit a lot of places in the GTA that serve Banh Mi. This is one of my favourites! They also have a location downtown that my family likes, but it’s a further drive for us. The sandwiches are really good and ingredients are always fresh when we’re ... there. This place has quick service and a lot of selection. Not sure why people experience rudeness because when I go there the ladies are all friendly saying good morning or hello! They have a lot of Vietnamese ready made food options that I don’t know the names of, but the ladies there explain what they are when I ask. We like the pork rolls in wrapped in leaves that are usually by the register. The large sesame balls are also really good too. I usually go in the late morning or early afternoon and the food is fresh! If you go too early not all the prepared foods are ready yet so the refrigerator display are sometimes a bit empty. When I’m in the area I always stop by for banh mi (Vietnamese subs). For the price of $4, it’s a decent deal and easy lunch! I always get the regular banh mi here. The food is usually consistent (sometimes more or less pickled carrots), which is okay with me! I ... always pick up if I’m coming back home from visiting Toronto, or if heading on a road trip it’s easy to eat on the road or at the beach! I always enjoy supporting a local business. The atmosphere scored low as it is a dated and small space inside a grocery store, but it still serves its purpose. Bahmi sandwich central exists, urban legend is true. Workers are friendly and are sandwich making machines. $4 sandwiches, upsize for $1 extra, that's right, throw your hearing aid away, your hearing is correct. Go for the spicy for that extra kick, don't be a wuss. Check out their menu, an abundance of ... sandwich variations. I always go for their assorted meats sandwich.
