Big Bone BBQ & Wicked Wings - Vaughan, Ontario

We hosted a backyard graduation party and had Nick and Karen from Big Bone BBQ Maple come and cater for over 70 guests. It was simply incredible. They came early to set up and brought everything they needed with them. Before the event Nick was very responsive about finalizing details ... and working out our menu. Such a great guy! Excellent! 10s across the board. Shout out to my girl Kenjah. I love when servers know the menu and how to sell it. She knows the names of the flavours and what each flavour is. No “uhs” or “uhms” here. Great specials including today’s bogo wings. Such huge portions and totally ... delicious. The onion rings are so good and very reasonable batter to onion ratio. The size of the wings are big but not too big where you’re concerned if it’s genetically modified. Brisket sandwich is huge. Portion is enough for 2 sandwiches. My husband loved it. He’s the real difficult one to impress and he said this is the new spot. I can’t wait to try the ribs on Wednesdays! I went out with a couple friends to an area I typically wouldn’t go to eat at. You can smell the smoke literally as soon as you enter the establishment. This is not a place you need to book a reservation for, as we were able to choose where we ... wanted to sit. Think of this place as a hybrid between sit-down and takeout. The menu has a very good selection of comfort sandwiches and platters. I ordered the fantasy burger, which is a lot to eat—it went down nicely. For the table we ordered the Big Bone Combo, which contained ribs and wings, along with a side of fries. I have had better wings but I thought the ribs were great. The prices were good and you’re definitely getting enough food. It’s best to save an appetite before eating here, as I was full just after the sandwich itself. THIS PLACE! Stumbled in one day, didn't know what to have for dinner. Me and my girlfriend sat down and perused the menu. All standard fare for a BBQ place ribs, pulled pork, chicken wings etc. We each settled on a platter ribs,wings, fries, coleslaw, beans, corn bread. Nice little cross section ... of menu gives you a good idea what the place is about. First bite fell in love, everything delicious, well made, generous portions. NOTE: This is important, Poutine order one for 2 people. It's massive! I've been around 7 times at this location, and I've been working through the menu. Doesn't matter what you order, you'll enjoy it. Bring cash they offer a discount if you do. Dinner for two, I've never payed more than 60, that's with drinks and tip. Value, quality, and a cozy atmosphere. Go get some ribs. Read more
