Casa Grecque - Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec

In April 2014 went for Easter Dinner at Casa Grecque in Vaudreuil with friends. The waitress who served us was excellent and very helpful. I ordered the rib steak (23.00) and although it looked very nice it was the worse steak I have ever been served. ... The steak was so tough gristle and difficult to even cut. I complained about it to waitress who agreed it was not a good steak. She took very sparsely eaten steak away to show kitchen and manager which only resulted in that I was given a complimentary piece of cake as compensation for crappy steak. Later we received an explanation that their steaks are purchased generally for all the Casa Grecque restaurants elsewhere and subsequently distributed to various Casa restaurants . In the end, bill arrived with no other compensation other than small piece of cake. It will be the last time myself and friends will be eating and Casa Grecque . Well it has been over four years now and neither myself or friends have set foot in Casa Grecque nor are there any possibilities in future. Read more

Excellent service and food. I removed a star because of two other patrons who were very loud and disturbing and nothing was done to remedy the situation. Aside from that we had a very pleasant meal.

Had not been back for quite sometime, and was pleasantly surprised with the food and the service. Food was delicious and piping hot. Waiter was attentive, and courteous. Will return soon. Hats off to the administration for turning things around. Cheers!

We ordered a plate for two with all the meats and after one hour we were still waiting for it! At this point I decided that it is time to leave the restaurant and we informed the waitress that we are not hungry anymore! So, you better eat something before ... you go in this restaurant! We ate there last Saturday. The waiter was super friendly and fast. We really enjoyed the food. The soup tasted home-made and the salad dressing was perfect. We love that we can bring our own wine. The reception rooms are welcoming, nice and clean. Our party will definitively be there ... again. Read more
