Would totally recommend this place! My friend and I visited Van for a little getaway and were hoping we would be able to find some good Vietnamese rice rolls because they are delicious but so hard to come by here in Canada. We came in on a Sunday afternoon so it ... wasn’t too busy; we ordered some rice rolls and crab and fish cake noodles. We were told we would have to wait for about 30 minutes for the rice rolls which was a bummer but anything for good bánh cuốn. The staff was super accommodating and served us hot tea while we waited. Time flew by as we got ourselves comfortable on the couch-style seats and people watching by the window. The wait was so so worth it as I got to enjoy some absolutely delicious Northern style bánh cuốn and my friend thoroughly enjoyed their crab and fish cake noodles. It’s been a while that I’m visiting this restaurant. The best pho in Vancouver. Friendly staff and a flexible working hours. I am so happy for having Mama Viet Cafe in my neighbourhood.

Love ordering from this place. The service is amazing and the food is delicious. I’m just so thankful the owners are patient and understanding. Came here because I was craving bun cha Hanoi! We ordered classic summer rolls and banh cuon. All three dishes were very tasty and authentic! Worth mentioning is that you get a big dispenser of nuoc mam for bun dishes, something most other restaurants don’t do. And they’re open until ... 3am for late night cravings :) Read more

The broth was good, it didn’t left me feeling heavy afterwards. The beef carpaccio (11$) is worth ordering as well. Pho 15$ one size Open late and only street parking available.
