Reviews for Cambie Vietnam Restaurant in Vancouver, British Columbia
Food is Amazing! The grilled chicken is a hidden specialty item that you must try! Don't sleep on the beef short ribs here as well. But the real standout here is the Service! Fast, Friendly and Appreciative! You can't say that about most of restaurants these days.
A lot of foot. Feels like homemade food with a good pretension to be a nice restaurant-level food. The serving was prominent and fast. The amount of food is for 2 people (I ordered a combo). Soup with different parts of a cow. Spring rolls and 2 sauces. Oh and ... soybean sprouts. Unfortunately, I was too hungry to take the before photos. Waitresses were quite and nice. The atmosphere was chilly, very Vietnamese. All in all its a very authentic place to try Vietnamese cuisine. Read more
Tasty authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Vancouver! 😋🇻🇳 I recommend ordering the Bún bò Huế which is slightly spicy but tolerable and a lot less spicy than Chinese hot pot spicy broths in my opinion. The Bún bò Huế came piping hot and smelled amazing. There’s layers of flavour in the broth and ... the meats were cooked to perfection. There’s even coagulated blood in this dish which I’ve never tried before and I thought it was pretty good - it didn’t taste like iron or anything. I also recommend ordering an iced Vietnamese coffee with your meal. The iced Vietnamese coffee here is strong and refreshing. 🧊☕️ Overall this is a great Vietnamese restaurant that not only serves your typical Pho but also serves central Vietnamese dishes like the Bún bò Huế. Very memorable and good food. The Bon Bo Hue is really good, the soup is very shrimpy and even comes with pig’s blood. The beef pho was also good, the broth is very flavourful and the meat is very lean (good depending on your preference). They are very generous with ... their meat. The spring rolls are amazing, very crispy. The minced pork banh mi had a balanced flavour, nice touch with pickled white onion. The pork is juicy but I took some out because there was too much. I really liked the tea, it was jasmine with pandan leaves so it was unique. Service was really friendly and pleasant. The atmosphere is interesting with bright colours but expected of Vietnamese restaurants. I liked that it’s spacious and not crammed. I’d love to come again! Read more
Great place. The smell is demanding, but rewarding. Trust me. I love the décor, a rare thing. The food was top-notch and the ambiance super cozy. I'd go all the time if it were closer. The plecos in the aquarium had a big ordure. "Whadda ya gonna do?" 🤷
