On Mother's Day noon, our family of five chose this restaurant upon our son's suggestion. As soon as we pushed open the door, a warm yet elegant atmosphere greeted us. The restaurant has two floors, and the dining ambience on the ground floor and underground is completely different. The underground ... area has a bit of a bar feel to it, with a small private room and a projector, making it perfect for small gatherings. We ordered some tapas, such as pan-fried squid, braised beef tongue, meatballs, fried chicken wings, tripe, and Spanish seafood paella. The flavors were just right. The cheesecake and Spanish churros for dessert were also interesting, but my favorite was the chocolate-dipped figs. For five people, the total bill came to CAD220 , making it a restaurant with great value for money. I highly recommend giving it a try. Read more
Amazing vibes, great food, and service. The quality of the paella and tapas took us back to our Barcelona trip. The paella and sangria are a must. The cocktails are tasty, and they have some rotating menu items that are fun to try. We heard great things about their churros, but ... got too stuffed at the end, will save that for next time. Came for a friend’s birthday dinner. I liked the ambiance, as the seating was comfortable, decently spaced out and not too loud. I got the sherry flight which was fun since I had never had sherry before. We shared a number of plates which were generally all good, albeit a little ... small and pricey. Skip the bread and the tomato bread. Favorites were the fried eggplant with honey, the stuffed peppers, and octopus. Our original server was friendly, but left at some point during our meal and no one came back until we had to flag someone down well after we were done. Our new server was not at all attentive to our table. We ordered dessert from her, unfortunately one of my friend’s desserts never came. We mentioned it to someone else who came by after, but it was never communicated to our new server. They dolled up the churros with a happy birthday message and candle, which was a nice gesture. The poor service did leave a bad taste with my entire group of friends. I’d be open to coming back but it’s not at the top of my list. Read more
Celebrated my friend’s birthday here, ordered all dishes pretty much. Overall a good experience, great ambience and interior, definitely a recommend place for dates. The service was top notch too, very attentive. Not to mention, we were all surprised by how fast they’ve got the dishes ready. Overall, some dishes are chefs ... kiss, beef tongue, salads and prawns, although surprisingly small portion too. However, the Paella taste awful, it’s generous pot with a lot of seafood, but taste very strange. My Spanish friend can cook better than that. Read more
I have visited this place a couple of times. I found the food from my first visit better (in terms of temperature and seasoning), but the freshness was really great both times. The second time I went, the sangria tasted more watered down, the peppers were over cooked, and the paella ... was not seasoned very well. The meatballs were cold, and the shrimps were undercooked. Some plates I recommend is the paella, chicken wings, and the shishito peppers. I am planning on my third visit to hopefully make up for my last visit. Read more
