I was honestly really excited to try this place. Small, kind of neighbourhood dinner. I dropped in for lunch. I was unfortunately rather disappointed. I tried their special of the day, which was pork tenderloin, with some applesauce, some potatoes and a salad. The portions were quite small, there was ... like 3 little pieces of potato, a couple rather small slices of pork loin, and a side salad. The flavours were nice, but I wanted much more for the price. It was a gorgeous day and we wanted to walk to a lunch destination. We had several options around the Jonathan Rogers Park, and we chose Emelle's. We are happy to see that they offer breakfast, and deli sandwiches, but we ordered something healthy instead. Salmon Burger and Grilled Salmon. I ... chose the option of soup instead of fries for the salmon, but was pleased to find just the right amount of french fries on the plate. My partner didn't appreciate the deep friend union rings inside his burger because it was unhealthy and wasn't in the description, but it made the burger crunchy. We would probably return again to try other items, but I am sad to see that the breakfast menu stops at 11 am though. Read more

Emelle's did a wonderful job making our wedding cake, so much so there was actually none left after the wedding! Nicole was awesome during the tasting and put us at ease and even suggested things that we hadn't really thought of. The whole process was great and we went back ... multiple times as we weren't sure on flavors. We would have had them cater the whole wedding if the venue didn't already provide food. Emelles did an absolutely amazing job catering our September wedding. Nicole was great at working with us to create a menu that we were in love with. We ended up being offered two tastings just to ensure that all menu changes from the first were to our taste. On the ... day of, food was absolutely superb and our guests loved it as well. There were a lot of compliments, especially for the Mac and Cheese. The catering staff were also excellent, getting everything prepared, set up, served, and coordinated. Read more
