Had pasta and pizza at an Italian restaurant on Fraser street. We had Hawaiian pizza with macadamia nuts. And the pasta was good too, even though I expected spaghetti lol will come back to try spaghetti next time.
Pretty cool little place. Very chill vibe, staff are very friendly. I am guessing they can get very busy as we wanted to order takeout, and it was an hour wait. We decided to try the pizza the next day. Pizza is very good. I would love to come back ... and eat in the restaurant. Definitely recommend it, and I am sure we will be back. Read more
Combo and spinach pizza. Surprisingly the spinach one was better because I can taste the fior di latte cheese along with the spinach. It's not oily. No dip sauce. Overall a solid place to get pizza. You can see two chefs hand make the pizza. From dough to placing the toppings. Took 15 minutes ... for both to come out though I didn't time it. There is a bar with large tv screen. Read more
I forget where I came across this, but I heard that this place had a "spicy coconut kale pizza" and I knew I had to try it. I finally visited with a friend and the pizza totally lived up to my dreams. The flavours are pretty unexpected for pizza, but ... the aroma of the coconut cream with the nutty sauteed mushrooms and chili heat is heavenly. Their crust takes thin crust to a new level - it's almost paper thin but crispy and sturdy with nicely puffed edges. I saved a piece to take home, but one hungry person can definitely finish an entire pie. My friend got the Hawaiian and also praised it highly. Tiramisu is one of my favourite desserts so I also had to try theirs while I was here. We both really liked this too! Every bite was at first rich and creamy, and then the bittersweet coffee and cocoa flavour hit. The vibe here is great - our waiter was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We hung around for a while after we paid and didn't feel any pressure to leave. It might be a little too popular to really be a neighbourhood secret, but it definitely has that feel of a cozy and cool place that's a little hidden away from the world. Read more
I think the positive thing about this restaurant is the drinks, especially if you go during happy hour (unfortunately we ordered ours 5 minutes before happy hour started). Our choices were aperol and negroni, and they were good. The smoked olives were tasty and the focaccia bread was soft. As for ... the pizza, it was the worst I've ever had in my life. The dough was too thin, it looked like bread dough and mine was too toasted, it looked like toast with little filling. I'm a big pizza fan, and this place to eat pizza with an Italian concept, I don't recommend. It was a bit disappointing. High price and poor quality. Read more
