We popped in this restaurant after bringing our daughter to her school field trip in Granville Island. It was a really good experience dining here. The staff who assisted us was very nice. We popped into this restaurant while in Granville Island because we wanted some fish and chips and it did not disappoint! We really weren’t expecting much since usually the smaller sized restaurants are known to have some of the best fish and chip and the Vancouver Fish Company is one ... of the bigger restaurants at Granville Island, but man they were great. A solid 10/10, would come back just for that. The seafood chowder was also not bad but would just get it again if I was feeling soup. Not a must purchase item. I had a really good experience in this place, the hostess was friendly, they gave a table outside as I requested in 10-15min. The menu is short so you don't have to go crazy about it, they had Happy hour 3-5pm on a Sunday which was great. Food came on ... time, a bit smaller than usual so maybe an appetizer will be great if you want. I had oysters, salmon and a sage lemonade, the drink was DELICIOUS and in the happy hour menu =) This place is perfect to be outside since you get a beautiful view. I highly recommend this place. You can stay on budget or go wild and get whatever you want. Perfect for solo travelers since it also has a bar area where you can be by yourself, indoor or patio. Overall a great experience. Only problem they ran out of mezcal so I missed trying one of the drinks I wanted. Music will be appreciated as well. Thanks! Read more
